Weeks 45 - 49: The One Man Wrecking Crew

Things I have learned:

So much has happened during the last 4 weeks, I’ll do my best to update through pictures. The key takeaway is that Samson has become a one man wrecking crew. He is completely mobile with crawling or by walking as far as his props will extend him. His mission: destroy everything in his path. He has already demonstrated extreme proficiency in this regard. Please take note that my original theory of “more child mobility = more parental exhaustion” is completely correct.

Faux Hawk

Doing his best Bevis impression. "I am cornholio....!"

Purim 2012: Dressed up like Johnny Rotten. Less Talk More Rock.

With Savtah in the park. One of those moments where I regret not putting shoes on Sammy.

You know what they say about big feet....who cares! Look at those things!

Alpaca, meet Sammy. Sammy, This is a weird cross between a llama and Camel.

Hanging with Taylor and her brother baby Owen. Owen is not happy about the situation. Sammy appears to have mixed feelings. But Taylor is happy :)
Sammy loves the older women! And they love him!

You don't become a wrecking crew without practice.

Loving "The very Hungry Caterpillar". Sammy will now close a book on your hand and lean over to the bookshelf if he does not appreciate your selection of reading material. At least he likes books in general!

FINALLY....after months of "teething". A TOOTH!!!

We need to learn the trick where Sammy passes out on the couch at 10:30 while the adults are drinking, laughing and having dinner. Sammy, in a huff of anger, decided that he would not even sleep in his pack and play Thank you to Becky and Etan for loaning him your bed.

Sammy, meet alternate universe Sammy.

Do they give out college scholarships for Tic Tac Toe?

Can you say sugar high.

This looks like the prequel to The Outsiders. Sammy wanted to play Dally.

Trying to read himself a story.

Loving the merry go round with Kenia

The return of Sammy's old man alter ego: Saul.

Apparently, you don't need pants or shoes to drive in our apartment.

Glad you are excited to be changed in a public restroom. That changing table makes me gag just thinking about what's happened there.

Sammy has started trying to say "Kenia" - they get along so well!

Natural History Museum.

Looking like a 2 year old!

Bath time is CRAZY TIME!

No, he did not get up there on his own.

Fun in the park

"No Pants McGee"

Things I think are silly. I loved going into the grocery cart as a kid! Danielle actually bought a grocery cart cover for him. I think this is crazy. Every mom I meet disagrees saying "eeeewwww, The Germs!". Come on people! He's a kid!!! They're like petri dishes anyway!

Hockey stick discovery = proud dad that can't wait to get this guy in skates.

Learning at the museum

I predict I will be carrying toy cars in my pockets in no time.
Sammy and our neighbor Nora playing

Sammy has started talking in his own way. Among the things he says (with intent):

1. Hiiiiiiiiii (he will respond to "hi" or say it to his pals when he sees them)
2. Hi Da! (he has said this to me now a few times in the morning in response to Hi Sammy!)
3. O-tay (not sure if this is him imitating OK)
4. Addy (think he means daddy but not to clear on this one)
5. Mamamama (I def heard this at least once)
6. Some form of "Kenia" - he makes a 2 syllable sound in response to "say kenia"

Yes, we lost mega millions
